We used day trip for 3 trips in the Balkans, and all 3 trips were great! Live the ability to invite stops and made the whole process very simple. One of the drivers shared the level of vetting the day trip team does, and that was reassuring. Customer support contacted me once as well as I had forgotten to put a specific address in for pickup.

Daytrip staff are very unprofessional there's a bunch of uneducated personnel. They often cancel on the drivers that puts the customer at risk not knowing who will accommodate them, the day trip except the driver to be responsible for beverages there's no gas allowance most of the customers feel entitled and day trip pays the drivers late or there's always some excuse just not a good app to use when travelling better hire a local or hotel shuttle.

Our driver was great, was nice and helpful. My issue lies in the fact that I paid 410 USD for two 10-minute trips, so 210 USD each way. From Edijal in Playa del Carmen. Which is an outrageous amount for a 10-minute ride. Actually isane. I thought I was paying 410 pesos which would make more sense. They said it was clearly stated in their app, but I guess I missed something. The currency stays in dollars despite what currency you choose, even if you choose to pay in GBP is uses the $ sign. I unde

They cancelled my driver 18 hours before pickup and couldn't find another. I had to buy another day in my current accommodations and waste a day in my next stop trying to find another ride
