Booked a food tour for 100 dollars. The guide never showed or tried to contact me. I contacted viator support to be told I might get a refund. This platform should have better vetting for tours. When you are on vacation and get stood up for 100 dollars and waste your day it is unacceptable. I no longer trust them and neither should you. Edit: I want to update that viator refused to refund us. Meaning they willingly allow providers to scam people and get away with it.

Unless you're a seasoned pro at tours (I am not), expect to be ripped off. Booked the Eiffel Tower via the website, in a bit of a rush, but the meeting point was not made clear in any of the emails. Once I'd managed to sign in, confirm my email, download the app, find the 'voucher' - then and only then do I realize it's not actually at the Eiffel Tower but round the corner. I missed the meet up by minutes and viator will only listen to the tour operator and neither will offer even a token refund

Frustrating trying to log in. It goes in circles. Click on the email link, I choose open in app, then sends another link to my email.
