So.people hate on this app, but they are stupid...frfr cabbies k ow the city better, and it is usually I have found to be cheaper than Uber (esp during surge) and faster and the cabbies are generally easier to deal with....an app that is functional and offers a better experience as far as the product of using that app is much better than an app which has a better UI but an inferior product.

DC Yellow Cab is normally cheaper than Uber and Lyft. Today for example I paid $17 for Yellow Cab, meanwhile Lyft and Uber were over $30 for the same ride. Most these cab drivers are nice guys, know DC well, and don't even need GPS. I'm happy to support them. But yeah like everyone is saying, the app isn't great. Feels buggy. Also, the quotes aren't always accurate, but it's usually by just 5 dollars or so. Whatever. Still cheaper than Uber and Lyft most of the time. I'll keep using this app.

Communication barrier lack of understanding the pick-up location and drop off destination for starters couldn't hear me when called the cab service i didn't get to my hotel which is literally 1.8miles from the pickup location So yes im a little frustrated to state the least

I called a cab yesterday morning around eleven fifteen. When the cab arrived he already had the meter running, and it had seven dollars and ninety cents on it. Those cab drivers think they are slick what they do is call when they are a block away and say that they are outside, and they don't be outside. I know for a fact because I don't call for a cab until I'm downstairs in front of my building. The cab company should find a better way to monitor their drivers. They are a bunch of thieves.

I waited 45 minutes to be assigned a driver. Then my driver didn't pick me up. Next time I made a reservation the day before. I was picked up more than 20 minutes late, but at least he picked me up.

Useless. Can never get a cab. They also lie about the rates and are consistently $10 to $15 more than what was quoted in the app.
