This App is perfect for every cycling ride plan. It shows you what the route looks like road type, elevation, etc...., it also lets you make your own road plan to ride. The Komoot App has fair enough Data to give it 5/5 Stars!⭐

Great planning, recording and navigating app. Really useful for finding routes when you're away from home, and it's well worth splashing out for the global maps if you like to run or ride while on holiday. Just beware of the occasional Komoot misadventure!!

Easy to use App & plan routes, coupled with clear & accurate navigation most of the time. However, just recently (from 3 months ago) the active position while hiking freezes after about 1 hour, sometimes reappearing, but cannot be relied upon to do so. Now I use a combination of Google Maps (which always gives our position) & Komoot (or a screenshot of the Komoot route due to an occasional complete failure to reload) to estimate our position.

This app is beyond dangerous, specifically in the mountains. The navigation is highly imprecise and lacking. With Google Services it lags about 3 mins walk, without Google Services even up to 15 mins walk lag. Dangerous and unacceptable. Then the app forces you to upload your routes, you have to complete all steps whether you want it or not, and then have to manually delete your route. The routes themselves and filtering is nice, the rest is utterly useless. Do not use for navigation, .never.

Purchased the premium feature to have MTB maps. Ended up being double charged the weekly and annual subscription. After cancelling the weekly subscription I do not have any premium features any more despite having paid €59,99 for the annual premium subscription. Support is basically not replying. As of now I highly recommend against using any paid services from Komoot. Update: 5th working day without any response from support. Will use PP buyer protection to get my money back.

Why do I need to create an account? I want to cycle not another social media app! Overlooking that I was unable to find the map for the recreational route I wanted to take, and it requires a subscription to upload a .gpx map no thank you
