The subscription is concluded via in-app purchase and costs 4.99 € per month.
- The 4,99 € are billed monthly via your iTunes account. - The subscription is automatically renewed one day before the end of the month. Stopped supporting backups.... Also Calls now get missed even though app is allowed running in background.... latest updates broke the app (tested on 5 phones!) Still no sms support (WhatsApp/signal pins)

In order to finish signing up for an account they require you to verify your physical address in Germany. To which they will then send you a letter via snail mail and when you get that in a few days hopefully then you can confirm your physical address in Germany. However I don't live in Germany, so I guess im not able to use the app which kind of blows.

They do not support receiving verification codes via SMS. It would have been nice to know this upfront. This makes the eSim useless for personal use, which it used to support.

Used and loved sipgate.co.uk, now they force satellite on you, you have to wait on a letter to a German address only, making this for Germans only, both of these limitations are not made clear early in the process. My money goes elsewhere
