Enjoyable version of the original FF classics, but I think I prefer the way
the books were combined in the original fighting fantasy legends
game. I can see this makes it easier to add games later than DLC, but the
lack of continuous play across the different books is a loss. I'm also a
bit concerned that Trial of Champions has some bits that if you miss them
first time around will leave you stick for the rest of your lives (can't
find the rope, for example). Overall, though, still a lot of fun.

So this game is an improvement over the previous one. You have lives now. Deathtrap Dungeon is very difficult to beat. Same as last time I just don't want to sink so much time into a game like this. Difficulty is hard. It's easy to die and if you don't have all the gems for the end of the level than you get sent back to the beginning of the game until you get those gems. This is a good game but It's just too hard for me. Brutal difficulty, dice rolls can go wrong and the dungeon is repetitive.

How the heck are you supposed to get the sapphire in deathtrap dungeon ? Have tried about 20 times, I'm guessing it's behind the boulder but each and every time I try the dice fall against me!! Game deleted.
