This game is an interesting but complicated game. When you die, you receive both injuries and curses which affects your dice rolls. Problem is you can die a few rimes in a row pretty easily and if you don't have the money to heal yourself then you can end up with multiple injuries and curses. This game can be frustrating, and I found myself restarting because of injuries and curses. If you got the time to put into it this game is pretty good but for someone looking for an easy win this is not it

Short but utterly fantastic it's as perfect a translation of the original books. That it's polished and as playable as it is balances out the brevity of the experience, but it's worth every penny. For those who complain it's too random or set up to fail at least it isn't asking you for more money every time you roll the dice

Really atmospheric recreation of the books, however the major flaw is the absolutely appalling dice rolling mechanic - just about every impossible roll routinely made by the computer leaving you to roll 0 or 1. A real shame as it could have been so much better

Penalized to munch on dice to keep playing, no way to buy healing potions that I came across and not a lot of gold droops.

So weird that with 12 dice I can't roll more than 2 successfully after dozens of rolls. Wish I could have experienced the game - it looks cool.

Game play, especially the dice rolls, feels unnatural and already setup for the player to lose a life or more during the game. It's not fun that the player keeps "losing consciousness" and lessens the fun factor of the game. I hope the developers are listening and try to tweak the game a bit to make game play more enjoyable, rather than dying every so often.
