Description
A beautiful, simple-to-use debt calculator and a monthly finance planner!
What this app does: Organizes and plans out your debt. Tells you HOW long it will take to get out of debt with some basic monthly details. Up to SIX (6) debts supported * and four (4) payoff strategies -- not including the debt snowball method which can be turned on for each.
As of March 2017 we have added a place to add Bank Accounts and manage your account ledgers! (As always, NO personal information required -- and we do NOT connect to your any accounts!). Enter each checking or savings account transactions manually and keep track of how much cash you have on hand! We have added a new Dashboard to keep track of your total debt, total cash, and upcoming payment reminders!
Also:
- We allow for Fixed or Variable payments. - Monthly payment reminders in your device status bar (requires the app permission "When reboot is finished") - Auto backup and restore! - Export monthly planner to .csv, file.
============================ NOTE: There is an optional in-app purchase that will unlock (1) removing ads, (2) allow for unlimited debt, (3) allow for unlimited bank accounts, and (4) gives you access to custom monthly payments. This way you do not need to upgrade to a brand new app for more features. This small charge will support future development to this app. ============================
HOW TO USE THIS APP:
This app is designed for those who have a basic idea of what they need to pay this month. We will determine the rest based on your options. There is no option to tell us your budget.
Rather than giving us a lump-sum payment amount, THE USER WILL DECIDE how much to pay in the first round of payments FOR EACH CARD. Not the minimums, but your actual planned payments. We will then take those numbers and make the needed adjustments as time goes on. In this way, you have greater flexibility to manage over your debt. You can play with the numbers to tweak your own plan.
NOTE: This app does not support bi-weekly payments (only monthly).
==================
SUPPLEMENTAL INFO
Debt Planner will provide you with a quick, simple way of calculating different aspects of your current debt including the time it will take to pay off, the total interest fees over the lifetime of the debt, your current APR fee, and more! Whether it is credit cards, auto loans, personal loans, you can calculate it. It will also factor in potential balance transfer fees and promotional rates as well!
Calculations in this app are very accurate. Remember, if you feed it bogus numbers, you might get a bogus answer! It can only contain so many built-in protections!
Disclaimer: Debt Planner will simply give an approximate amount of time (in months) that you will be debt-free. There are many real world factors that will put you at a different end-date. In order to meet the formulated date, you must try to pay as close to your specified monthly payment goal as possible.
All File Access Permission (Android 11+)
We create a database file(.db) of the debt records you entered and store it to file storage of your device and the same file is used to fetch debt data and display inside the app. Also, we send this file as a backup to the cloud/server for future use in case you change your mobile device.
Starting from Android 11 and above, we cannot access file storage on your device. So we are asking for “All File Access” permission only for Android 11+ users to store and access this backup file from your device for seamless flow of the application. This file is located on your device at internal storage /debt_planner/backup/debt.db (please do not delete or modify this file manually). For Android 11 and above users, we urge you to give “All File Access” permission when prompted to enjoy a seamless experience.

Hi, great App, absolutely love It. Is it possible for you to include an option to toggle between weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payments, and to see week to week results and progressions ? As I get paid weekly, and I pay my debts off per week. If this is possible this would be the absolute best app.

Normally, I have no problem with this app. I think it's absolutely awesome because I can plan out my next move for paying off my debts. But with the recent update, there's a bug, and I can't even open the app 😒

Can't figure out what it's trying to do... I wanted a snowball planner that I could enter payments into and it adjusted accordingly. This however doesn't seem to take the paid off payments and put it towards the next lowest debt. I also couldn't add card payments that I already paid off to the available funds. It almost looks like it just adds a little to the next bill instead to the full available amount. No good for me.

AWFUL!!! How hard is it to just have an *add payment* button to add a freaking payment!? Like what even is the point. If you add an "adjustment" it doesn't even deduct from the total?!
