Only one run of about 6/7 msgs in one conversation in one thread needed manual deletion when I used it following an upgrade to a S9 from my HTC 10 & the texts repeated following a data/info transfer. I can't see what people find the problem!? Just set both options to on (can't remember what they are, sounds risky but obv. not) & spec last text to be saved & just do it! if it bothers u as it does me to see pointless repetition this is the baby for you.👍

I had 4 definitive duplicates of around thousands of original messages,
including MMS, as a result of a restore that I had inadvertently repeated
one too many times. This app only detected one duplicate message, out all
of those thousands of messages.

It said that I had 59 duplicates sms and I choose to delete them, but I can see that all the duplicated messages in my inbox, so I don't know what it actually deleted! It might actually deleted something important and now I don't know what! Sorry, but I've lost all go confidence in this app that I just installed.
