★★★★★ UPDATE! 10/8/2021: I have had these lights dating back to 2015. I ordered two more than one of them went out due to our rain weather and I already had a back up set that worked to replace old one that went out. But I wanted two more than back-ups. So when I used my old Simians Tablet with Android 7, I could NOT connect to my current lights, nor the two new ones I just bought. So I grabbed my other 10-inch tablet with Android 9 as well as my Samsung phone with Android 9, and I was able to connect to my current lights as well as the two more that I just bought and now set up. This app works! So I am updating my 1-star review to 5. I think we all just need to use updated Android versions to connect to these now. (MY OLD REVIEW FROM 2015) >>At first, this app worked great with my Defiant light, but now this app can't even find the light! I can find and pair to the light when I go to Bluetooth settings after I put in my set password and it pairs perfectly. BUT then when I try to use THIS app to control the lighting, the App does not find the light saying I need to stand closer to it (I am right next to it! Less than 6 inches away!) or turn on the light or confirm my Bluetooth is turned on (when I just paired to it fine under my Bluetooth settings!) I have to DOWNGRADE this app as well as return this light as it seems no other APPS can allow you to access the Defiant security light. What a pain!

★★☆☆☆ If there were another choice I would use it. If you have the lights you need the ap. It doesn't seem to work well with the Bluetooth. Many times when right under the light it won't connect.

★★☆☆☆ Will not connect/pair with light. It's been out over a month. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it still doesn't work! Will not pair with Bluetooth on my Android phone. Please find it. And fix it RIGHT this time!
