There are a lot of comments about how the Sky droid apps crash, and I've had the same experience. I found one sentence on a forum that mentioned: Wi-Fi MUST BE TURNED OFF ON AN ANDROID PHONE OR TABLET. So, after a couple of frustrating hours of fiddling with this or that, I turned off my tablet's Wi-Fi. Guess what! The app opened and I could configure my equipment. Unfortunately, there is nothing in any documentation that cautions you about this. If you want to make this app work on your Android device - YOU MUST TURN OFF YOUR Wi-Fi BEFORE YOU OPEN THE APP. Seams stupid, I know. Sky droid: please write clearer manuals or hire someone that can help you.
