The TAG Remote editor lets TransAcoustic guitar players control more detailed effect parameters and looper settings via Bluetooth.
- Effects You can switch effect types and finely adjust the parameters of each effect type. Chorus: 2 types (Double detune, 4 Voice) Delay: 2 types (Simple, Analog) Reverb: 3 types (Hall, Room, Plate)
- Looper (only available for TAG3 C and TAS3 C) You can switch between looper tracks and keep your 10 favorite looper tracks. You can also load 10 demo loop phrases into any looper track. (In some cases, you may need to use TAG Updater app to transfer demo loop phrases to your guitar.) You can change the behavior of some of the looper operations.
- Preferences Firmware update, check the battery charge level, adjust the input Gain, and more.

This is an absolute fantastic guitar but like everything I feel with the app that there could be improvements for example the tuner only goes to 438, and I like to tune my guitar to 432 hz and if you wanted to do tuning down in D this is not possible it would be fantastic to have a wider range for the tuner secondly it would be great if we could upload music to the Loopers or be able to save them on your phone, so you can use them at a later date come on Yamaha I know you can do this 🙏

Works great. Some looper improvements recommended. 1. Reordering of the 10 loops in the app 2. User-customizable loop names 3. A way to switch loops from the guitar itself. 4. Export/import of loops via app. Or create larger loop library 5. Create/edit/delete effects presets 6. Apply effects presets to loops

Unfortunately, this app seems to be broken on Android (Pixel 8 Pro). Try as I might, there seems to be no way of getting out of landscape mode, which cuts off most of the fine-tuning features this app is useful for. Hoping Yamaha is expedient with updates, as this seems like an unfortunate bug.

The app isn't working at all, it just keeps crashing. Unable to open the app at all. Please fix this (using a Google Pixel 8) 😢

For some reason it opens in landscape and there's no option to change it to portrait so half of the functionality is unavailable. Also the switches don't seem to work. I've tried it on two phones - Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 6 Pro. I've just paid £1400 for the guitar, and it's great so such a shame to be let down by a janky app, especially when it's the only way to control most of the settings
