Dial-X

Dial-X is a private messenger built for the times when ordinary apps stop working — and for people who need more than one identity.

WHY DIAL-X IS DIFFERENT

Most messengers tie you to a phone number and stop working the moment your connection drops. Dial-X does neither.

• Sign up with an ID you choose — a phone number is optional
• Create several identities on one account and switch instantly
• Translate any message inline — chat with people who speak another language
• Keep messaging over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct when there is no internet at all
• Send your location to trusted contacts with one long press, even with the app closed

MULTIPLE IDENTITIES, ONE ACCOUNT

Keep work and personal life apart without carrying two phones.

Each identity has its own contacts, its own chats, and its own online status. Someone who knows you by one ID cannot tell that the others exist. You appear online only to the contacts of the identity you are actually using.

You can also link a phone number as an extra identity — but it is never required.

CHAT ACROSS LANGUAGES

Tap any message to translate it right there in the chat. No copying, no switching apps.

Useful when your family speaks one language and your work speaks another — which is everyday life for millions of people working away from home.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET

When there is no signal, Dial-X relays messages device to device over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct.

If the person you are messaging is out of range, the message hops through other Dial-X devices to reach them — up to five hops. The relaying device carries your message but cannot read it. It stays encrypted the whole way.

EMERGENCY SOS

Hold the volume button for six seconds.

Your location goes to up to three contacts you choose in advance, and keeps updating every 15 minutes until you stop it. It works with the app closed, the screen locked, and the phone in your pocket. If there is no internet, the alert goes out over the mesh network.

REAL PRIVACY, NOT A SLOGAN

• One-to-one messages are end-to-end encrypted with AES-256
• Group and meeting messages are encrypted on our servers
• Private keys never leave your device
• We never upload your phone's address book
• We never track your location outside of Emergency SOS
• We never sell or analyse your data
• Signing in on a new device immediately ends the old session

EVERYTHING YOU EXPECT

• Text, stickers, voice notes, photos, video, documents, location
• Reply, forward, react, and translate messages inline
• Edit a message within 15 minutes of sending it
• Search inside any chat — works offline too
• Star messages to find them later
• Delete for yourself or for everyone — with undo
• View once photos, videos and voice notes
• Disappearing messages and scheduled send
• Groups with admin controls, polls and sticky notes
• Scheduled meeting rooms with chat and file sharing
• Voice calls that keep running while you browse the app
• Private Vault — PIN-locked chats hidden from every list, even notifications
• Busy Mode — pause messages globally or for one chat
• Auto Reply — let AI answer while you are away
• Broadcast lists
• Encrypted backup to Google Drive
• Six themes, chat wallpapers and adjustable text size

BUILT TO KEEP WORKING

Everything queues offline — messages, media, deletions, read receipts — and syncs the moment you reconnect. Chats open instantly from local storage, not the network.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE

Delete your account any time from Settings. Everything goes: profile, messages, contacts, groups, media. Nothing is kept.

Dial-X is free. Premium removes ads and unlocks unlimited calling.
