Dear Ludwig, would it please be possible to let us know how to fix this nice app? I've really enjoyed using it in the past & would like to use it again. After giving permission and launching it, it shows this message: "Error: Diff Tool does not have rights to access files or folders. To run Diff Tool, please open the Android settings of your device and enable storage access permission for this App! Ok".

"Compare two files" didn't work for APKs. But "compare two folders" ok, navigate to first file, select/open it, press OK, exit the file, navigate to second file, select/open, OK, then it shows the result, in my case they had the same content. Total Commander: select/mark first file, select/mark second file (prevent cumbersome navigation, I made 2 copies in a directory), touch and hold one of the files, a popup arises with many options, one of them "compare two files". That works too ;-)

UI isn't pretty and a little unintuitive at first, but if you don't want to spend hours comparing and copying the contents of two folders and their subfolders, then this tool is a godsend!

It does not see the text files. Only shows JPG files to compare. There is no option to select permission for text files. Only audio, movie and image file permissions can be selected.

It's 5-star app.....but please update it to android 11 scoof storage so that it can access all files in android 11 and uper versions.... please

I've used this app before on a different device, but my current device is not able to run it, first thing the apps asks is for storage access then it says cannot access files and folders. Please fix asap
