Well I settled on Collabora because I wanted something that works on both PC and Android to edit docs and odts without an account needed and to get away from Google and microlux. Thank you developers for this fine app. My only complaint is that it's really sketchy trying ro select text on the Android app. You can double tap for one word or triple tap for a line, but its hit or miss. So copy and paste is broken. Hopefully that can be improved to be more precise.

No ads. No data grab using Wi-Fi/mobile data. Completely free. It's an office alternate that just works. Kudos to the development team. -1 star because it's a new software and needs some improvement to fix glitches.

I liked the app. It did what I needed it to do on mobile, so I made a couple of changes and saved the spreadsheet. But the next day I couldn't open the file on my desktop or mobile and Excel said it was corrupted. all the previous versions in the version history (OneDrive) were also corrupted. If it hadn't been for and backup copy I found somewhere else I would have lost everything in the file. I don't know if collabora office corrupted the file, but I hadn't opened it since that save.

The interface looked good, but when I selected a word in my file and tried to make it bold, it became italic instead, and the only way I could turn italic off was through the back button! Pressing the italic button did nothing. Uninstalled.

This app is clunky and nearly useless. It won't allow users to select text. You can go into "Edit" from the main menu and "select all" but not a few words, such as when I want to make text bold or underlined. I have to plug my phone into my laptop to use Word to do edit documents. And photos won't show up in documents - only a blank rectangle with some text at the top.
