※ Note 1. If you disconnect USB OTG cable during ODD operation, it will not work correctly. 2. If there are other applications that recognize USB device installed on smart device, connect ODD after cancelling 'LAUNCH BY DEFAULT' at Apps menu in Settings on smart device. (ex: TrueDVD, ES File Explorer) 3. To eject the disc inside ODD during video/music playback on the player works on with, terminate the player and then press eject key of ODD. 4. For those of you just downloading and running this app? BE AWARE!!! This program is ONLY for specific hardware! It only works with specific drives (Hitachi-LG portable DVD writer). Great for transferring your old favorite music CD's to your micro SD in like Android 8 and higher phones. The "Slim Portable" H-L drives also work with PC's in Windows 10. The big advantage is that the drive is powered by USB. No bulky power supply needed! If you do not have the listed hardware, it will not work.

Works decently for playback of audio CDs and data disks. I haven't yet tried extracting audio or burning any discs yet, but I will update when I do. The eject disc button is not as intuitive as it should be. A plus symbol usually means to add something, so using that as an icon for an eject button is confusing. I would suggest the developer change this to a more recognizable symbol.

I had hoped this app worked. It does not work for me. It begins to play then stops. As it keeps stopping then the message telling me it stopped! And leave feedback. I go to leave feedback, and it goes to the app icon. I am using the latest Galaxy Tab S 6lite with Android 11 and with LG slim portable optical drive DVD player writer. The paperwork says it will work. The drive works but the app keeps stopping. I will update to more stars and good feedback if the apps get fixed.

Won't recognize the disk drive is even plugged in! Even though it can play the music on the cd (though the album/title/picture of it is COMPLETELY wrong) it refuses to otherwise acknowledge the drive is plugged in and also there's no option to rip the cd music I could play (even with the details wrong) despite "audio cd ripper" being stated as an option on your description! All of this is ridiculous! Your dvd drive is literally unusable!

Connected my Asus external drive with an otg to my phone, but it didn't detect the drive.

This app works about 40% of the time. Sometimes when you're trying to open it, it just... doesn't wanna. Also, you cannot turn the burn speed down so whatever is around the 50-minute mark doesn't burn properly. It technically burns songs, but good luck.
