Stop losing to tactics you already know. Disco Chess is a chess tactics trainer built on one idea: seeing a combination slowly is the same as not seeing it at all. Train the same curated puzzle sets in repeated cycles until the patterns surface on their own, faster every pass.

WOODPECKER METHOD-INSPIRED TRAINING

Most puzzle apps feed you an endless stream of new positions. This training flips that: a fixed set of puzzles, solved again and again in timed cycles, until every motif becomes reflex. Hans Tikkanen rode this system to three Grandmaster norms in seven weeks. Disco Chess handles the sets, the cycles, the timing and the stats. You just solve.

• Curated puzzle sets at five difficulty levels, from quick checkmates to deep combinations, kept identical across cycles so repetition does its work
• Cycle tracking with per-puzzle timers: watch a motif drop from 40 seconds to 4
• 18 tactical themes including forks, pins, discovered attacks and deflection, trainable mixed or one theme at a time
• Tactics from your own games: connect your online chess account and the trainer finds the shots you missed and turns them into puzzles
• Mistake review on a spaced repetition schedule, so wrong answers come back until they stick
• Drill your openings with video lessons that expose the lines you only think you know
• Analyze any position on a built-in Stockfish board
• Streaks, leaderboards and per-theme stats, synced to your account on every device
