Movie library is showing up very nicely, but for some reason It fails to load my TV Show library. The library is all set and works on Kodi but not on this. It would be really amazing if this gets fixed

This is an awesome application to use on android tv. I use this on my nvidia shield, and it allows you to launch shows right from your desktop. Sames lots of extra clicks, or waiting for Kodi to open up.

Just added this app and so far....Wow! I use Plex server --- this app on the smart TV displays the content a little better, and seems to speed up the access as well. PLUS: it displays subtitles on my content. Using the TV media player did not work for that, without a workaround.
★★☆☆☆
Unfortunately when you choose the default video player, it goes back to the first screen. You must choose "Just once".

Good idea with quite a few problems and a very specific use-case. First off, this won't (at least currently) replace a full-fledged DLNA/UPnP browser app. Channels have to be configured with a specific location that cannot be browsed - i.e. the configured channel as it appears on your home screen will simply show all media files inside that folder (and sub-folders, if configured) as a side-scrolling list. You cannot see or traverse sub-folders, since everything is flattened to a single list. This makes it unusable for large resources, e.g. all of your movies, as you will have to side-scroll from 0 to Z through all of them to find what you want to watch. Second, when you start to use and configure this app, you might think that it's broken (I did, and rated it one star), since for instance, if you're configuring a channel with a lot of files and/or included sub-folders in it, there's a lot of time spent by the app looking for media inside this, and during this time, Android TV will report the channel as "Empty," and this app may be unresponsive as well. Eventually, it will complete and add the media to the channel. It would be great, if possible, if a channel could contain sub-folders AS FOLDERS, that could be opened. If that's not possible, it would be almost as great to be able to tell the app to automatically create channels for each sub-folder in a configured folder. For instance, your DLNA server might serve a list of alphabetized folders, i.e. "A," "B," "C," etc., inside a server folder "Movies by Letter" or something like that (several DLNA servers do this). Telling DLNA Channels to monitor the "Movies by Letter" folder and automatically create and refresh a channel for each sub-folder would be a great way to work around the problem of working with a gigantic list of all movies, for instance. As it stands, it's still a very useful little app as a companion to a regular DLNA browser. Currently, I'm watching the series Fargo, and I have configured a channel for each season on my home screen for quick access to each episode. EDIT 2: I just discovered that this app doesn't include subtitles from the server when you launch an item, so it's now completely useless to me, and I'm back to using Bubble for everything. I hope these things get fixed or improved, though, as it's a really good idea.
