DOCitUP is free to use for foreground reading and narration. The optional premium upgrade unlocks background playback (Free as of now), so narration can continue while the screen is off or while you use another app.

Privacy:
Your imported EPUB files are used for reading and narration inside the app. DOCitUP does not require an account. EPUB files are not uploaded by the app for reading or narration.
