Docxter turns documents you already have into something you can listen to — on a walk, during a commute, or whenever reading isn't practical.

Load a manuscript, report, ebook, or plain text file, and Docxter reads it aloud using your phone's built-in text-to-speech engine. No account, no internet connection required, no uploading your files anywhere.

• Skip forward or back sentence-by-sentence while it's reading
• Adjust reading speed from 0.75x to 2x
• Pick any voice installed on your phone — including different accents, if your device has them
• Four adjustable text sizes for comfortable reading while you listen

NEVER LOSE YOUR PLACE
• Docxter remembers exactly where you left off, down to the sentence — close the app and reopen it days later, and it picks up right where you were
• Save a bookmark at any point and jump back to it anytime, even after you've read further ahead

BUILT FOR LONG DOCUMENTS
• Page through even very long books smoothly, with a live progress bar and elapsed/total time estimate while it reads

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Docxter has no servers, no analytics, and no ad network. Your documents are processed entirely on your device and never leave it. Full privacy policy available in the app's settings.
