Reddit pointed me to this app and what a great discovery that has been! Very generous free plan and surprisingly realistic voices. I'm impressed! The Orator voice is currently my favorite for reading epub files. As someone who likes to write books, it's nice to be able to hear my work played back for editing. The one feature I'd love to have would be a way to turn on the ability to have footnotes played. One of my books uses footnotes heavily and those are the best parts in my opinion.

I found this app while looking for a solid TTS app. I mainly listen to books, plus some PDFs and articles, and it really helps me stay focused when reading normally is a struggle. The voices are natural and the app is easy to use. What stands out to me is that the developer actually listens, I reported feedback and got a quick response. My partner now uses it too for listening during commutes instead of audiobooks, so that's two more very happy users!

Very bad experience. Installed based on reviews, but the UI is confusing and not privacy-friendly. Doesn't support books properly, only small docs. Not free. Voices sound slightly high-pitched. I uploaded an eBook, and it sent it to their servers without warning, then made me wait 20 minutes only to say the file was too large. It also downloads unknown books automatically. Not a real TTS app—audio isn't processed on-device. Very bad.

Keeps saying can't sign into google, needs permission for sign in prompt from android, but when look at permissions, it has permission.
