Amazing for learning Japanese vocab! Updated semi-frequently with bug fixes and quality of life improvements. It isn't very draining on phone battery at all. You start by learning Katakana and Hiragana via the app, there's a romanji setting but learn Kana as your first step then switch. You read each word in Kana as the word is read out loud to you with correct Japanese pronunciation. They include a cute image to help with memory association then quiz you on the 15 words in a section. 10/10!

Can't test before buying. I won't put money into an app if I can't make sure it fits my personality/learning style. This takes you straight to a splash screen asking you to pay a subscription. I'm not against paying for things, but I prefer to see what I'm paying for before I do.
