Domino Carte

Domino Carte is a quiet domino puzzle set at a card table.

Every table is a small garden grid. You are given two-square planters and a handful of moves; your job is to cover every patch of dirt without wasting a hand. It is the kind of puzzle you can play with one thumb on the train, and still be thinking about on the way home.

HOW A TABLE WORKS
- Pick a planter from the tray, rotate it, then drop it onto two neighbouring cells.
- Patterned grey cells are stone; a lock marks a planter that cannot move.
- Cover the last patch of dirt and the table is won.
- Undo restores your layout but still costs a move, so place carefully.

TWENTY TABLES, FOUR CHAPTERS
The gardens begin as a single bed of seedlings and end in a proper courtyard: 20 hand-built layouts in four chapters, each with its own pattern and its own idea of tidy.

THREE-STAR PLAY
- Three stars: every planter placed once, without taking a hint.
- Two stars: finish inside half of your spare-move budget, with one hint at most.
- One star: any other clean win still counts.
Best results are saved per table, together with the table you are in the middle of.

HINTS WHEN YOU WANT THEM
Each table comes with a couple of hints. A hint marks a legal spot for the planter in your hand, and costs a star — never your progress.
