Dorset Live Weather

Dorset Live Weather brings genuinely local, live weather data to your phone, using live data from trusted weather stations observatories across Dorset, updated in as little as every 2 seconds.

The app currently centres on the North Dorset Observation station, with support designed to expand as additional Dorset weather stations and cameras join the network.

View current temperature, wind speed, gusts, wind direction, humidity, rainfall, dew point and air pressure. Live wind observations update every few seconds when the app is open, creating a responsive view of changing conditions.

Keep the current temperature and wind speed visible without opening the app. The notification clearly indicates whether the latest station reading is still live and can include the latest weather-camera image.

HISTORY AND INTERACTIVE GRAPHS
Explore genuine archived station observations rather than data accumulated only while the app is open.

View regularly updating Dorset weather-camera images. Open cameras full-screen, zoom and move around the image to inspect current conditions.

STATION SELECTION
Allow the app to use approximate location while it is open to select the nearest supported station and camera, or choose a station manually. Favourite stations make it easy to follow another area of Dorset.
