Draw Music & Beats: Doodlestra

Draw music with your finger: every line you draw becomes a melody, every dot a beat. Doodlestra is a music drawing app that sounds good from the very first stroke, without an account and without waiting.

HOW IT WORKS
• Height is pitch: draw higher for higher notes. Every line snaps to the scale, so there are no wrong notes.
• Colour is the instrument: piano, bass, bells, drums, marimba, guitar and more.
• Left to right is time: a playhead runs across the sheet and loops your song.
• The shape is the rhythm: a flat line holds a note, a steep line becomes a fast run, a dot is a short hit, a circle plays two notes at once.

SOUNDS LIKE A SONG, NOT LIKE NOISE
Chords play under your drawing (pop, dreamy, lo-fi jazz, epic). On every beat your melody moves to the nearest chord note, so melody and harmony fit together. Add a beat and a bass line with one tap, set tempo (60 to 200 BPM), swing and key. Tap tempo included.

READY IN SECONDS
Open the app and draw. Your first line plays right away. Need an idea? Start from 19 shapes (heart, wave, skyline, star, rainbow and more) or type your name and hear what it sounds like. A new challenge waits every day.

SHARE IT
Export a 9:16 video for short-video apps: your drawing plays along with the sound. Free videos carry a small Doodlestra note.

WHY IT SOUNDS GOOD
The app explains its rules: scales, chords, rhythm and swing, in plain words. Turn on note names to see what you are playing.
