Car Engine Sounds - Throttra

Throttra plays car engine sounds you control with your thumb. Hold the gas pad, rev a V8 up to the limiter and hear the exhaust answer. It is a car engine sound simulator that calculates every note live on your phone from the firing order, the pipes and the muffler. No recordings, no loops.

PRESS GAS, HEAR THE ENGINE
• One big gas pad: hold to rev, slide down for less
• Shifts, limiter, pops and bangs react like the real thing
• Muscle V8, flat-plane V8, boxer, rotary, big twin, V12 and more
• Tap "Why does it sound like this?" and see the firing order, live

BUILD YOUR OWN ENGINE
Pick 1 to 16 cylinders. Choose inline, V, boxer, W or rotary. Add a turbo or a supercharger, change the exhaust from stock to straight pipe, set the redline and the flywheel. Want a V16, or a single cylinder at 18,000 rpm? Build it and listen. Every engine gets a short code you can send to friends.

ENGINE SOUND ON THE ROAD
GPS drive mode turns your real speed into engine sound with an automatic gearbox, even in an EV, on a bike or on a scooter. No GPS? Simulate mode lets you drive a virtual car with the gas pedal. For your safety: set everything up before you ride and never touch the phone while moving. Keep the volume low enough to hear traffic.

Recent changes:
• More reliable purchase: a double tap no longer opens a second checkout, and after an error Throttra reloads the offer and retries once.
• Fewer interruptions: after an engine preview the Pro page opens by itself at most once a day.
• Prices load more reliably.
