I have been using Drimsim for several years now. Always keep money on in case someone goes wrong while I'm traveling, so I could order a taxi or send a message. Helped me numerous times. It is obviously pricier than buying a local sim card but really helpful when you are spending just a day or two in a new country and don't want or have no time/possibility to buy a local sim card.

I am an infrequent traveler and even if I turn the sim on after a year or two of hibernation it is there, the balance is there, and the prices are very cheap for things like check the map or order a taxi or use messenger

Does not work in Istanbul for 2 days stright while the support promises to "fix it in a couple of hours" every time I ask. Absolutely inadequate service, had to go and buy a local sim card instead. Oh and you obviously cant charge them back.

Poor or no service. SMS doesn't work Spoke to support - which was useless - and very poor English Funny - they said - I will receive a response within a few business days after they checked with their partner... Imagine you are travelling overseas and using their service... I believe it's Russian company that pretend being International

It is not what you expect. There is a SIM, but there is no number with it; you must rent a number of you want to make calls or send SMS. The rental is for a fee (so actually it is not true that this service doesn't charge regular fees: it does if you want to use it for the features advertised). They also advertise free incoming calls, but read carefully: only when connected to Wi-Fi (LoL). If you don't rent a number than all you get is mobile data connection which is very slow (1.19/0.27 Mbps).
