Regular driver's license checks for company car drivers are required by law in many European countries. In Germany, the Federal Court of Justice prescribes a six-monthly check by the employer. However, checks within the company are often time-consuming, uncoordinated and questionable in terms of data protection. This is where DriversCheck comes in.

DriversCheck brings tomorrow's technology to your company fleet today. With the help of optical license recognition, driver's licenses will checked by the driver with their own smartphone and in a legally secure manner - anytime and anywhere. Does not support EU issued licenses. I have Irish license, and I was required to put some sticker on the license to get it accepted. EU licenses should be accepted across all EU countries, this goes against all the principles of EU. Very disappointing.

My company picked this app to verify our licenses. After trouble verifying the rear of the German license, I found the root cause (app is constantly triggering vibration) and reported it to the developer (ticket #277295). When all vibration on the phone is turned off (which is buried in the phone settings), verification works reliably. After 6 months I reported again that the issue was still there. Now, 1 year later, it has still not been fixed. Stay away!

This app so bugged. Sometimes my profile data is just gone and the app becomes completely unusable. Next, a tagless checkup is really tedious because the automatic scan is just awful. Good lighting, license exactly in rectangle, hologram visible, but still not recognized. They should hire someone who knows how to do automatic image recognition.
