Description

Genuine-ID Document Check is a free app for secure ID verification in seconds. The Genuine-ID ID check reliably reads and checks passports, ID cards and driver licenses in real-time and at any time of the day – be it from home or on the road. The system recognizes all documents officially issued in Europe and many more.
This app is a demo application for identity checks.

The process of a ID verification with Genuine ID Document Check:

1. With your smartphone camera, take a picture of your identity document. In the first verification step, the system categorizes which type of document it is. In the second step, the ID document is checked for numerous security features.
All this is possible with your passport, ID card, driver license or even the residence permit.

2. If the document is genuine, it verifies that you are the same person as on the document. You will be asked to look into the camera. Your facial features are then compared with those on the document photo ("Face Matching"). Then you will be asked to close your eyes for a certain amount of time, and finally, you will be prompted to smile ("Liveness Detection").
With Face Matching and Liveness Detection you can be certain that no one else can impersonate you during the process.

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't work, can't take a picture, tried to verify 3 times. Waste of time.

★★☆☆☆ Stressful !! Avoid if you can !! Spent ages to set up and receive confirmation email just to be told that the credentials that the app actually saved are not right. No way to know what has happened to your personal details, no way to log in, no help or advice !

★★☆☆☆ Does not take photo. Have tried several times for my friend to complete details and take photo. We get stuck on the photo section as it scans and then says it cannot the photo by saying fail. I have tried different light incase it was too dark in the room but no success. Any help please. Thanks
