So I think removing the milestones was a terrible idea. That kind of made a difference in the beginners world of investing. It gave a metric to measure against while striving to gain more than just currency. Having a secondary goal created further commitment. I honestly only just realized after trying to see how I was doing towards Mythical oak. I've been investing weekly for a few years. It is interesting to have taken the goal of a milestone and turn it into a financial goal also.

You have to guard your bank account like a hawk. Subscription fees and they do nothing useful. Terrible interface, bad product, too costly.

I thought this app was going to be great. I had to cancel and pull all my money because I am temporarily disabled. They still want to charge me for June because I had the gold membership which isn't good unless you are putting a lot of money in it. The small guy loses in this one tax dollars you put in a Roth I would tell you not to touch it. Not a good app because it's a high fee with limited stock options. I was very disappointed with this app. Don't bother if you're not putting in big money.

Referral scam I was sent to acorns because there was an offer for a referral. Sign 5 friends up and get $1375. Wow, what a deal, who would pass that up? I got 5 friends to join and invest before the deadline, but one of my friends didn't download the app, so he clicked my previous link to get back to where he was in the sign-up process. Now they are saying that since he signed up twice I can't get the referral. Big fat scam. Maybe some people get paid out. But there are loads of fine print...
