With DroboPix, you can be assured that all of your memories are securely backed up and protected on your network Drobo. Installation is simple, download DroboPix to your device and configure via Drobo Dashboard by scanning the QR code provided on the dashboard. Once you are connected to your Wi-Fi, DroboPix will automatically upload new images and videos over your network.

The easiest way to upload my photos to my Drobo

I initially had similar issues to others posted here (loop back and registration wouldn't complete no matter what you did). The update to the app installed on the Drobo 5 N seems to have solved these issues. After uninstalling and reinstalling the DroboPix app on the Drobo5N itself, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Android DroboPix app on my Samsung Galaxy S5. Drobo5N loop back completed in less than 3 minutes and Android-to-Drobo registration took less than 30 seconds. After registration completed, the phone app uploaded all picture and video files to the specified directory. So long as future updates to either the DroboApp and/or the Android app don't break a currently working system, I think this is a WIN for Drobo.

Can't pair with my Note 8 phone. Everyone I speak to says the same thing. I scan the QR code over and over and nothing happens. Can't register my phone. Does anyone have this app working?

This app has been failing more than it has been succeeding. "Upload error Bad request" error message with no mechanism to refresh or fix the request. All software up to date on Drobo and phone.

Sort of works, and sort of doesn't. That is, it sometimes does, and sometimes doesn't! Also, it says it will allow multiple devices to upload, but doesn't tell you that sometimes the scannable QR code doesn't actually work. It'd be nice to have a clickable link instead of a QR code for those times when it won't work! Which is almost every time! In summary, this app sort of blows, but sort of sucks, and sort of works and sort of doesn't. There has to be a better way to do this, but drobo are a bunch of horrible lazy people, who don't update, don't support, don't do anything actually useful, except take your money and hide it somewhere. Clearly not in customer support, that's a given fact!
