Droid Dashcam is a great driving video recorder (dashboard camera, BlackBox) app for car/vehicle drivers which can continuously record videos in loop mode, add subtitles with needed information directly on those videos (read below) and record in background, autostart recording and much more.

My phone model Oppo A3X 5g, Android version 14, security update 5 sep 2024. This app was working good. After updating this app from play store this app stops recording automatically when running and recording in the background after few minutes. I checked everything, battery optimization turned off, gave permission to run in the background 👎

I like the old version it works better than new one, but this is really bad even that I when to settings to Disable recording it keep recording automatically and turn off everything and keep recording I think I'm going to uninstall this app it recording by itself and it's taking a lots of memory so if anybody it's seeing this don't waste your time it will consume all your space in your phone even if you turn it off it will continue recording even when you but it in your packet drain your battery

I don't think so Financial Data? Nope finding another less intrusive app you don't need access to financial anything! Before to agree to using this app it has issues below you have to agree to This app may share these data types with third parties Location, Financial info and 3 others This app may collect these data types Location, Financial info and 3 others Data is encrypted in transit App doesn't provide a way to request data deletion
