Comments on Droid Dashcam - Video Recorder for Android

★★★★☆ Marcelo G · Mar 20, 2026

Great dashcam app—the best I’ve tried so far. I just wish it offered a dual recording feature, allowing simultaneous use of both the front and rear cameras.

★★★★☆ Les Ochsner · Apr 3, 2026

Works great, but drains battery quickly and heats up the phone, especially if being charged during use.

★★★★★ Munish 3088 · Jun 18, 2026

Usefull app to use old phone use as dash cam big thanks to app maker

★☆☆☆☆ Anoop · Apr 14, 2026

My phone model Oppo A3X 5g, Android version 14, security update 5 sep 2024. This app was working good. After updating this app from play store this app stops recording automatically when running and recording in the background after few minutes. I checked everything, battery optimization turned off, gave permission to run in the background 👎

★☆☆☆☆ Juan Soto · May 27, 2026

I like the old version it works better than new one, but this is really bad even that I when to settings to Disable recording it keep recording automatically and turn off everything and keep recording I think I'm going to uninstall this app it recording by itself and it's taking a lots of memory so if anybody it's seeing this don't waste your time it will consume all your space in your phone even if you turn it off it will continue recording even when you but it in your packet drain your battery

★☆☆☆☆ Travis Derendinger · Apr 16, 2026

No, it is not assigned to any button or anything on my phone. I open up the app, and then I hit the record button. Then I go for my drive. When I'm done, I unlock the phone because it automatically locks. And I hit the button to stop the recording which thing causes it. Two start recording again. This didn't happen in the first version of your app.
