Drumgenius (created by a musician for musicians) is the first encyclopedia of real drum and percussion grooves (500 grooves) as played by the masters: a unique tool for any musician that wants to practice with an amazing expert virtual drummer, to develop time-feel and to expand the knowledge of any kind of rhythm, from the basic to the most complex one! The loops (stretchable) are accompanied by useful descriptions and discography references. The special "clave" button helps to go deep into the nature of different rhythms. DG full pack option (Infinite Credits) includes also Metrogenius: the useful clave-metronome, with editable cycles and "swing regulator"!
HOW TO BUY IN-APP PURCHASE
Download the app for FREE and use the PREVIEW FUNCTION for listening to all the loops before deciding to download them. You have at disposal three free loops to download from the list of 500 LOOPS TOTAL, so you can test the player functions and enjoy the practice with Drumgenius. Then, if you like it, on "Store" section, you can buy loops, having available three options: 10 Credits, 50 Credits and Infinite Credits. Each credit lets you download one loop at your choice from the complete list. When you choose a loop that comes with the alternate version with Clave (C), both versions will be automatically downloaded and will result as one credit only. You can use 10 and 50 credits option only once. Infinite Credits option lets you download all the loops included in Drumgenius 3.0 and will give you also unlimited access to all the loops and new functions that will be added in future updates.

Great app for practice and gives me a huge range of rhythms, styles and speeds. Great for keeping my bass timing rock solid. Way better than a metronome. Good price for so much material from a real drummer, not a machine. Mauro was also very helpful when I lost my credits along with my phone, and helped solve it with a full credit. I would give it ten stars if I could.

Good quality but the loops seem to aimed at drummers for learning purposes, rather that as a 'drum metronome' for other musicians. Loads of jazz and fancy stuff hardly any country, country rock, mainstream pop/rock, Americana etc

Pro musician. Great app, it replaces your metronome with perfect drum beats to practice over. Mega fun! However, last update has some bugs and doesn't start at the right tempo

The program has hundreds of drum beats, in different genres and style I like. However it only allows you to download and listen to three Loops of drum beats. We're not talking about a complete song here, we're talkin about a few stanzas of drum beats For the rest you have to go to the store and pay. Granted, it's not expensive, it's just the developers should have allowed you to try enough to get a feel of it. I'll stick with Ableton or Complete battery. If you're going to be spending money

I'm not able to access any loops. It's saying 'permissions are not granted'. I go to app info, there are no permissions requested. What can I do?

Currently, none of the loops will download for me. I tried the basics, including uninstall/reinstall, but I can't download or play the loops. I give 2 stars because it used to work pretty good. [I get a message "Error downloading 1 loop" for every loop, and every download fails.]
