Parents can't communicate back with teachers through app. Also, when any announcement it doesn't highlight or open automatically. Is it expected parents to keep checking for announcements daily?

Initially-it was not user-friendly app. Somehow got the hang of it. I was
using this for my 2 kids in same app. Now it does not give an option to add
my younger one to add in same app.
