Dual N-Back: Focus Trainer

Dual N-Back: Focus Trainer is a working-memory training game based on the Dual N-Back task used in cognitive research.

YOUR FOCUS WARM-UP ROUTINE BEFORE DEEP WORK

Give your mind a short, structured challenge before studying, creating, problem-solving, or starting focused work.

Dual N-Back combines visual and audio memory challenges in a clean, distraction-free training experience.

HOW TO PLAY

Watch the square. Listen to the sound. Remember both.

Each turn, a square appears in a 3×3 grid while an audio cue plays. Compare both with what appeared N turns ago.

Tap Position Match when the square matches. Tap Audio Match when the sound matches. Tap both if both match.

As your N level increases, the working-memory challenge becomes more demanding.

ADAPTIVE TRAINING — 15 LEVELS

Start at N=1 and progress towards N=15.

Adaptive Training adjusts the difficulty based on your performance, helping you build consistency and unlock higher memory levels at your own pace.

CUSTOM TRAINING

Choose your N level, session duration, and pace to create a personalised working-memory challenge.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

Review your training accuracy, audio and position matching, response control, completed sessions, and progress over time.

BUILT FOR YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

Designed for professionals, students, creators, and anyone who enjoys a structured mental challenge before deep work.

Whether you have a few minutes or want a longer session, make Dual N-Back part of your focus warm-up routine.

A few minutes of training. A simple routine before deep work.
