Your light is your health, your vision, and the reach of your weapons. It fades every second you stay alive. When it runs out, so do you.

Duskward is a one-thumb survivor roguelite. Drag anywhere to move — your weapons fire themselves. Survive twelve minutes in a closing dark, and you escape.

THE LIGHT IS EVERYTHING
One resource does three jobs. Take a hit and your flame shrinks: you see less, you shoot shorter, and the dark crawls closer. Lanterns burn out in the distance and the slain drop embers, so staying lit means moving through danger, not hiding from it. Standing still is how you die.

EVERY POWER HAS A PRICE
Each upgrade you take feeds the Dread — the dark grows faster and hungrier alongside you. Or decline the upgrade and take light and emberdust instead. Getting stronger is never free.

BUILD SOMETHING NEW EVERY RUN
Seven weapons, seven passives, and seven evolutions that only unlock when the right pieces line up — a weapon at full strength beside the single passive that completes it. Ember Bolt into Sunspear. Halo into Corona. Pulse into Supernova. No two descents build the same way.

SIX BOSSES, THREE PER DESCENT
Gloam the First Weight. The Weaver Queen, Mother of Threads. Duskmaw, the Last Dark. The Thresher, the Choir, the Hollow. Three of the six come for you each run, and which ones you draw changes how the fight works.

GROW BETWEEN RUNS
Emberdust buys permanent upgrades that carry into every descent — deeper light, faster hands, a second wind when your flame gutters. Five more vessels to unlock, each starting you on a different weapon and playing completely differently.

TEN DESCENTS DEEP
Clear a tier and the next one opens: faster spawns, hungrier dark, richer rewards. Twenty trials to complete along the way, and an endless mode past the twelfth minute for anyone who wants to find out how far down it goes.

A NEW DESCENT EVERY DAY
The Daily Descent gives every player the same seed. Same spawns, same lanterns, same luck. Only your decisions differ.
