A bit slow to load, but I can reserve books on my phone without having to go and get my laptop. Good app.

Pocklington's library staff always very helpful and caring. I always feel like I am amongst friends when I go in. The staff go the extra mile - if they don't know (not often) they will always go out of their way to find out the answer. I have moved house a few times in different parts of the UK. I would say Pocklington is top of my list in every aspect of a librarian. Thank you everyone for helping me when I needed it. Susan Wheeler

All of a sudden, the background of my search results and account information, is black. Like a dark mode. But my phone isn't on dark mode and none of my other apps are affected.

Buggy rubbish. Often won't let me search. When it does it won't let me scroll through the results.
★☆☆☆☆Rebecca P· Apr 16, 2026
Breaks frequently - logs out for no reason and often doesn't recognize correct log in details.

Useless app. For the past few weeks won't let me log in. Uninstalled then installed again and still refuses to work. Keeps saying my login details are incorrect when same details work on their main website. It's quicker to pop round to the library the old-fashioned way than trying to get this app to work. Don't waste your time.
