EBPocket is dictionary viewer for EPWING standard. It is also possible to search for StarDict, Mdict,dsl dictionary. EPWING is one of the most common dictionary standard in Japan. EBPocket professional can perform a variety of search methods, for example, incremental search, prefix search , suffix search, exact search, conditional search, and the compound search, etc. And, also supported on the images and sound. EDICT dictionary bundled as a sample. [Important!] Since Android 11, it is no longer possible to access the external SD dictionary. You need to copy the dictionary to your app-specific internal storage(/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/info.ebstudio.ebpocket/files/EPWING).You can copy the dictionary from the SD card using the dictionary manager, or copy the dictionary from the PC with a USB connection.

No Jump feature I've been using this dictionary viewer for around five years on Windows and Windows Mobile systems, and it's been excellent. Mr. Rashida has created a fantastic app that's extremely useful for language learners, providing a variety of options for finding words, their definitions, and related definitions. On the whole, this app makes language studies much more fluid and comprehensible. (E.g., selecting "clipboard search" allows a copied word to be automatically looked up upon switching to Pocket or Edwin.) The Android version is almost as good; unfortunately, I was a little disheartened to find that it is lacking one essential feature: the jump feature, which allows you to highlight a word within the dictionary and jump to its definition/s. I'm really hoping Mr. Rashida will add this ability at some point in the future for ease of use... and so I can give this great dictionary viewer a 5-star rating. :)

Android Version Not so Worthy I have been using this app in windows for years. I also used it in windows mobile with no problems. However, this program crashes with a "not responding" error in android.

Pixel 2 XL, Android 8.1, March 5 patch level, crashes shortly after granting file access permissions on first startup and then crashes instantly afterward. Denying permissions prevents crashes, but the means by which you add dictionaries is laughably bad. This is rather disappointing.
