Great app, and great bat detector. The app is very glitchy with my phone which is a new Nokia and not on the recommended list for compatability, but it still makes learning different bat calls very simple. I think even if you buy a phone/tablet specially for this it would still work out better value than other detectors.

Does a really good job detecting and visualizing bats' ultrasonic calls when used in combination with the Pro detector. The within-app species ID is rapid, if tentative. At $400/yr, the desktop analysis software is spendy if you aren't wealthy or on a research grant. The free version is good for basic bookkeeping and visualization, but has no species ID capability. There is a slight incompatibility with my cellphone: no metadata is saved if I record to an SD card rather than internal storage.

I'm only giving 1 star as I can't give 0 stars. The latest version of software now uploads your files to Google Drive as a single ZIP file, whereas before it uploaded each file individually. Once I had uploaded files from 4 Bat Surveys that I had completed I then had to download the ZIP files to ensure that the individual recordings had been safely stored in the cloud. Every single ZIP file was unable to be accessed after being downloaded. This is an awful update and needs fixing.

Great device. But frustrated that based on specs it is not clear whether a mobile phone will work with the app or not. Example:bought a Motorola e13, which has a USB-C, is otg compatible, and has android 13 . When trying to install the app it says: this app won't work for your device. It is unclear why not, as it fulfills all specs according to the descriptions. Ease update the specs, so users know in advance whether a given model will or will not work with the app and hardware!

Very buggie to the point of almost unusable. Lots of crashes during survey. Lenovo tab M10 hd, noticed this is not on your compatible list of devices. Wish I had seen this before buying module and tablet. Will there be an update to the app for this device? Currently, (June 2022) support are helping via email to find a workaround to get module working with my tablet.
