Been using Mobile Tech since its release. Initially there were strong errors but the ECI developers were prompt to resolve the issues and continue to provide new features. From my mgmt view, our own IT support and especially the Technicians using it, we find this to be a solid, stable tool and more beneficial than other choices for supporting Technician activity, it walks all users through every needed entry with ease. We have now used it problem-free for several years. Highly recommend this app.

This does not work as they promote. Constant server time-outs and lock-ups. This causes the phone to run slow and battery to drain. Remote tech much better

Every update is worse than the last. When it works it is OK. Why is the new limit for remarks just 255 characters on Android devices? I'm required to keep detailed work history. Now I have to enter info in the notes section which doesn't show in machine history. No offline capability. Frequent crashes and server communication issues. Battery drainer

This app Does not work Well at all! Keeps on getting sync errors days After the calls have been completed. Lt also has issues with map. There are so many things that make it so much more time-consuming to complete a call than our previous app Remote Tech. Couple of weeks ago the app told me I needed to update it and once I updated, it told me there was an error because our server had not been updated. I could not do anything until the server was updated. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Working with ECI tests your patience, especially in IT service delivery. Despite repeated tickets for mobile tech update alerts, the first notice I received was for a new version launching at 7pm on 2/29/24. Promptly, I updated our on-prem servers on 3/1/24. Yet, our techs are now stuck, prompted for an update that ECI failed to release in the app store. This oversight exemplifies why steering clear of the monopolistic ECI is wise—they hinder more than help.
