EggMaster: Egg Timer & Physics

Say goodbye to rubbery whites, chalky yolks, and medieval kitchen guesswork. Boiling the perfect egg isn't luck—it's pure thermodynamics.

While standard kitchen timers blindly tick down 6 minutes regardless of what's in the pot, EggMaster simulates heat transfer in real time using the 1D Fourier heat equation. Straight from the fridge or room temperature, tiny bantam or jumbo XL: your egg turns out exactly how you want it. Every single time.

Why EggMaster is built differently:

🔬 Real Physics Instead of Rule of Thumb

We solve finite-volume heat conduction models directly on your device. EggMaster accounts for exact gram weight, egg size standards (EU/UK, US, Canada), start temperature, freshness/pH, and calculates the precise local boiling point of water via your altitude (GPS/barometer).

🍲 6 Dedicated Cooking Methods

Classic Stovetop: Cold-water start or hot-water plunge, factoring in pot volume and burner thermal drop.

Steamer Basket: Gentle, exceptionally even cooking for effortlessly peelable shells.

Sous-Vide & Japanese Onsen Eggs: Target exact yolk rheology from runny custard (63.5 °C) to creamy jammy (65.5 °C).

Poaching: Includes an optional 10-second pre-blanch step to eliminate ragged egg-white fringes.

Electric Egg Cooker: Calculates exact water requirements down to the milliliter.

Pressure Cooker / Instant Pot: Dialed-in high and low-pressure cook profiles.

🧊 Carryover Cooking & Shock Simulation

An egg doesn't stop cooking just because you take it out of the pot. EggMaster models residual thermal inertia migrating into the core and calculates exact cooling times for ice baths, cold tap water, or ambient air resting.

👥 Multi-Egg Batch Planner

Need a soft-boiled small egg and a hard-boiled XL egg from the same pot for breakfast? The multi-timer synchronizes your cook, giving you step-by-step audio prompts on when to drop or pull each egg so everything finishes together.

⏱️ Kitchen Kiosk Mode & Voice Cues

Loud countdown alerts ("30 seconds remaining!") and a high-contrast full-screen kiosk view ensure you never have to smudge your screen with wet kitchen hands. Driven by Android's exact system AlarmManager to guarantee alarms fire—even in deep sleep mode or with the app closed.

🔒 100% Offline, Ad-Free & Private

No ads, no accounts, zero tracking. Works just as reliably in a remote mountain cabin without cell reception as it does in your kitchen.

Stop boiling eggs on blind faith. Let thermodynamics handle breakfast.
