„Reich-Ranicki für Weingüter und Weine“ urteilte der Hessische Rundfunk über den Autor. Nun liegt die neue Bestandsaufnahme deutschen Weins vor, durchgängig farbig bebildert: „Eichelmann 2022 Deutschlands Weine“ bietet eine Einführung in die deutschen Weinanbaugebiete, Porträts der besten Erzeuger – darunter 64 neue Erzeuger und 249 biologisch arbeitende Weingüter – und die Bewertung und Beschreibung ihrer Weine.

Eichelmann 2022 präsentiert 935 Weingüter und 10.400 Weine, die vom bewährten Verkoster-Team ausgewählt wurden. Die Weine werden im international üblichen 100-Punkte-System bewertet, das Gerhard Eichelmann in Deutschland eingeführt hatte, dazu findet man Preis- und Alkoholangaben, Weine mit besonders gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind hervorgehoben. Jedes Weingut wird für seine Gesamtleistung mit 1 bis 5 Sternen eingestuft. Wichtig für den Verbraucher ist, dass dabei nicht nur Spitzenerzeugnisse vorgestellt und zur Betriebsbewertung herangezogen werden, sondern alle Weine, auch die Einstiegsqualitäten.

Preisangaben, Register mit Schnäppchen- und Bestenlisten, eine Übersicht der besten Bio-Winzer sowie ein Ortsverzeichnis runden diese einmalige App ab (die Buchausgabe, gebunden, kostet 35 Euro).
