I recently subcribed to the digital version of the Journal Star. I downloaded the app about 2 weeks ago and haven't had any problems of app crashing or not loading (referred to in several reviews). User interface is great after a bit of practice. I didn't think it would be so easy to flip through pages and read articles. Almost feels like you are reading the paper. Virtually everything in the paper is in this app, including Obituaries, Letters to the Editor, Comics, and Ads.

I also had problems downloading the publications today. I ended updating the app to this version (2.8.75) and it is terrible! The zoom in browse mode is almost unusable! Please give us back the old version of this app.

Madness. App will work fof a few days then you cant get in. You get a nitice that says "Sorry" call 800# or send email. If you do, they say trite stuff like reboot your phone or reinstall the App. Totally unreliable! If this was the only subscription I'd be out of luck. DON'T INSTALL! IN FACT DONT SUBSCRIBE TO PEORIS JOURNAL STAR.

crappy app for a crappy paper. opens to a mishmash of old and new news sports mixed with news wear out your finger scrolling thru redudent stories. no help from gatehouse, they sent me a link that doesnt work at all.
