The army tried. The army lost. Now Canberra has sent you.
EMU WAR is a cheeky Aussie tower defence game based (very loosely) on the real Great Emu War. Build defences along the track, upgrade them, send in your hero, and stop the mob before they scoff the lot.
BUILD A PROPER AUSSIE DEFENCE
- Thong Thrower: a bloke in a singlet hurling his thongs. Upgrade to Golden Thongs.
- Snag Sizzle: no emu can walk past a snag in bread. They stop, they queue, they argue about onions.
- Lewis Gun: historically accurate, so it jams at the worst moment.
- Drop Bear Tree: tourists reckon we made them up. The emus are about to find out.
- Swooping Magpie: it's spring. Nobody is safe.
- Mite Mine: a jar of black spread. Devastating to anyone not from here.
- Backyard Cricket: anti-air, for when the emus learn to fly. Howzat!
SIX LEVELS ACROSS THE WHEATBELT
From the paddocks of Campion to the grain tunnel under Walgoolan Silos, a haunted emu graveyard, the Merredin rail yard (they ride the goods trains now), the Rabbit-Proof Fence, and finally the Emu Lair itself.
A RIDICULOUS ROSTER OF EMUS
Big Kev. Ned Kelly emus in bucket helmets. Diggers that tunnel between paths. Undead emus that get back up. Skeletons, ghosts, train conductors, stokers, hang-gliders, emus on party balloons, and the Emu General himself.
THREE HEROES
The Outback Ranger, the Reprogrammed Emu and the Aussie Samurai. Each has a big special move and levels up as you play.
