Great alternative to Google Photos and similar apps. Being e2e encrypted + an easy-to-use app makes Ente an awesome project. Best of all, they offer all of it as an open source project! Better than Google Photos! This is seriously everything a photo app should be. Even without the encryption, this would be an amazing app. But encrypted, and open-source? One of the best apps I've ever downloaded! Keep up the great work!!

Actually ZERO stars. My private pictures disipear without deleting. Non-private pictures I do delete from Ente, also disipear from my Gallery. Makes no sense to me. The (app Ente) from play is next to delete!!! I'll search for a different app.

Seems like a good app. Only issue is when creating an account I get "Contact Customer Support". I try to contact Customer Support but app won't contact Customer Support. Was able to sign in after Support said they fixed the issue. Logged out and can't log back in. Hitting the eject button on this app. Don't need issues every time I go to log in.

PLEASE FIX: I'm on a pixel 10a but this also happened on my S25+ as well, so I think it may be Android specific issue. The app is great other than sometimes when opening photos it will hold off loading the full resolution (totally normal) but then when full resolution loads in - it randomly decides to "squish and stretch" the photo which completely ruins the viewing experience. Now that I think about it, I've even seen it on desktop as well. This is absolutely infuriating!!!

Ente supports PNG and JPG but not PDF files. Having PDF support would make Ente a complete private storage solution — no need for a separate app just for documents. Everything end-to-end encrypted in one place would be really useful. Please consider adding PDF support in a future update.
