WEATHER ALONG YOUR ROUTE
Weather can change a lot over four hours and 100 km (60 miles). A city forecast can't tell you about the headwind or a 10 degree temperature drop by the time you crest the climb at 11 am.
Epic Ride Weather combines your route and expected pace to forecast temperature, feels-like temperature, wind, precipitation, and more, at the time you'll reach each part of your route.
UNDERSTAND THE WIND
See wind speed and direction along your route, relative to the way you're riding. Know where the headwind starts, where you'll get a tailwind, and which way to ride the loop.
FIND THE BEST TIME TO RIDE
Compare start times throughout the day. Two hours can be the difference between a soaking and a dry ride, or between a strong headwind and a calm evening.
AIR QUALITY ALONG YOUR ROUTE
See the Air Quality Index along your route, with details on individual pollutants. See where air quality is worst and when conditions improve, especially when wildfire smoke is changing with the wind.
USE THE ROUTES YOU ALREADY HAVE
Connect to Strava, Ride with GPS, Komoot, Garmin Connect, Trailforks, MapMyRide, Plotaroute, and Runkeeper, or open a GPX, FIT, or TCX file.
You can also forecast Strava Segments to see which of your favorites have the wind behind you today.

Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the Account Settings after purchase. Love the app, unfortunately local club puts all rides on plotaroute which isn't a source for Epic Ride Weather. Please consider adding support (plotaroute or maybe better Garmin Connect directly- I paid for both plotaroute and epic, but with all route apps I seem to end up back with some manual steps that consume time every ride!

Requires me to also have a separate app subscription to connect to and then doesn't have any of the functions I was looking for or that I thought it would have. Was looking for an app that would give me a daily plan to the best time of the day for a ride, based on the weather (temp, rain, wind). I can't find how this app does this without having to do the same level of planning myself that I already have to do with the general weather information I can find for free online.

Up until recently this was a 5-star app for me, but it has forced me into a month-to-month subscription. I have paid annually for years then it stopped. It tells me my annual subscription is paid but won't work. I went and guessed and tries month to month, and now it is working again. Please fix this is if you can. I love this app, but recent events are starting to change my mind.
