★★★★★ Very cool idea! The concept is very cool...just open app to see what is going on without lots of searching of many websites or blogs.... So I would suggest adding a link to the venue page so that your users don't have to close out of your app to view the website of the place they are interested in. Also, not sure how to do this but the venue vs event could be established better...with so.e tweaks this could Def be a go-to app for what's going on in NYC!!!
