The substantial upgrade needed to make it a 5-star app: allow us to edit trip WHILE IT'S HAPPENING. I want to set what a trip is about (and any notes) BEFORE I start driving - not at the end, when I'm busy and onto other things. Later, it sucks to try to remember which trip was for what. I should be able to hit Start Trip & immediately enter the category, car, tags, & any notes before the car starts moving. Also, Ever lance captures more trips than Mile IQ (and a couple other apps I've tried).

I originally reviewed Ever lance when it was only missing a few miles here and there, but it has gotten much worse. On Sept. 19, it tracked 213.5 miles but missed another 114.7 miles, about 35% of my total driving that day. One stretch alone was about 96 missed miles from 7:08 PM to 11:19 PM. I pay for automatic mileage tracking for gig work and taxes, so having to manually reconstruct over 100 miles defeats the purpose. This is not an isolated issue.

Downloaded Ever lance less than 24 hours ago and already having major trip-tracking issues. It recorded multiple trips while I was sitting on my couch, some requiring me to manually end them. Later, I stopped at Sonic for about 10 minutes, but it combined the drives before and after the stop into one trip. This doesn't save time if I have to constantly correct inaccurate trips. I'm on the free trial and won't subscribe unless these issues can be resolved.
