★★★★★ Well thought out and useful app I run my own small business and have been playing with the full featured free trial for the past 30 days -will purchase the upgrade to Pro. Overall, great for those who are looking for real-time expense tracking as well as time billing when away from the office. It is best to use this app as soon as you have an expense. If you collect receipts and prefer to do your expenses later, you might as well stick with a PC based spreadsheet as data entry will be easier. Best: Very reponsive developer! Found some bugs while testing which were attended to very quickly over email. App does everything advertised and is easy to learn. Features needed for 5 star rating from me: Number the transactions and receipts on the report. This is so it is easier for accounting to identify the photo receipts at the back of the pdf report with the transactions listed at the beginning. Ability to make credit transactions (for example when there are refunds on separate receipts or tax refunds from customs.) Also, ability to attach electronic reciepts (instead of using photos) for those online airline, hotel and car rental, etc. purchases. I use it everyday and have no complaints. I highly recommend it!

★★★★★ Very, very good! I use this to keep track of all of my business travel expenses. This program easily tracks hours, mileage, and receipts. I am often on-site with a client working on multiple projects, each one being charged to a separate invoice or project funding. Then, I use the reports to fax to our accounting office for automated expense receipts submittal. I prefer Expense it to our business system because I can track expenses to projects for my clients instead of our system which just does time.

★★☆☆☆ Could have been good enough This is an adequate tool for recording expenses - I neither use nor value "Mileage" or "Time" recording and the multi-project functionality is questionable. The problems I experience are: - Over compressed images, can't actually read the receipts on the PDF output. Needs (option) for lower level compression. - Reimbursement rates on foreign currency (in my org) have to be made at the actual rate (and evidenced) so CC: forex transactions need a "actual" reimburement value and place to record the CC transanction and forex details (rate + any fees charged). The app info neglects to mention that this is trial software - limited to 25 days.

★★☆☆☆ Trial period does not mean it is free Wish developers would be honest about "free". A trial period is not a free app. Uninstalled. I would be fine with a limited feature app for free and have to pay for the full app. But "free app" for a trial period is deceptive.
