Great app for beginners! While the app doesn't have a fancy interface like others, the information it contains is fantastic! Many Japanese language learning apps don't explain that the phrases they are teaching are formal and sound odd to native Japanese speakers. This app goes through each word/phrase and how it fits into Japanese language and culture giving you a much more thorough understanding. There isn't much content, but enough for a first time learner to get started. Highly recommended for Japanese beginners!

The app looked amazing, but it won't open for me at all. It just shows the title screen. I have tried reinstalling it and opening it without Wi-Fi but nothing works. What should I do?

I used to love this app and had it on another phone, but lost track of it. I finally found this app again, but as others have said it no longer works. I get to one of the prettiest splash screens and that is it. It won't progress any further. This was really easy to use and informative, but now completely broken. I hope one day it can be fixed. It would normally get five stars.
